The first time we discovered Ellie Bullen's Instagram account we couldn't stop looking at her exotic travels around the world, her delicious and colorful plant based recipes and her bohemian, animal-loving lifestyle. She is 24 years old but she has been so many beautiful places already we are just dreaming of, like Maldives, Philippines, Greece, Indonesia and so on. As vegans we all know sometimes it can be challenging to find vegan-friendly restaurants while we are on the go (especially in a different country). Ellie shares her easy to make nutritious plant-based recipes on her blog and her favorite top restaurants with us.
Please tell us a little bit about yourself and growing up in Australia!
My name is Ellie. I’m a 24 year old nutritionist and dietitian from the east coast of Australia. I grew up on the coast and loved living by the ocean. I recently finished my university degree in Australia and have packed up to travel the globe. I share my travels as well as my vegan recipes and healthy food inspiration on my Instagram account and blog named Elsa’s Wholesome Life. I am also recently a published author with a new vegan cookbook filled with over 100 plant based colourful recipes.
You have been to some incredible destinations, what is the favorite place you have visited thus far?
My favourite place recently has been Tahiti. It was soo dreamy.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would that be and why?
Anywhere? I am dying to get to Mexico! It looks so beautiful and I bet the food is amazing.
What is your beauty advice to those who travel frequently? How do keep that beautiful glow in your skin?
I’d say making sure you keep your face out of the sun with sunglasses and a hat. I also make sure I use sunscreen and moisturise my face before bed with a nice organic moisturiser and face serum.
